In just 4 games, Taylor Hall has 8 points. 5 of which are goals. Second place to him is Yevgeni Dadonov, who has 3 goals, 5 assists for 8 points. Because Hall has more goals, he is first place for points in the tournament. His line mates(Crosby and Eberle) are also tearing it up. Crosby is 9th place with 3-2-5 and Eberle in 12th with 1-4-5. If McDavid is supposed to be the next Sid, and the Oil are playing great with Crosby... Hall is tied with Forsberg for first in goals, but Taylor has the better SG%.

On a side note because I am an Oilers fan, all the Oilers have been nothing but solid during the tourny. Lander and Hendricks doing wonders for their teams, and Klefbom being a solid dman. Looking forward to next season.

Halls been really good, maybe best canada forward. However lets wait till after round robin

Landers been good too, really showing hes going to be a good player. klefbom has been up and down, but as is the case with young d up against world class talent

Alot of it has had do do with OEL continuing to jump into the rush and Klefblom having to try and bail him out.

Just a minor correction, but Crosby didn't start playing with Hall until midway through the 4th game against Sweden.

When Hall is using his speed, both in forcheckong and driving the D back, he is almost unstoppable.

He missed a chunk of this year due to injury and looks like he's brought his A game to Prague.

OEL has been pretty steady, especially in the game against Canada. Klefbom has been decent as a whole but he makes unbelievable mistakes at times, one of which started the Canadian comeback last night. He's supposed to be more of a defensive guy on this team so we are in trouble if he starts giving pucks away like that.

I'm a Hall fan in the NHL...but have always been unimpressed and critical of his game on big ice. This time it seems it's finally clicking for him. It would be interesting to see if Hall Crosby Eberle can take over this tournament. It's time that the big money players come through in elimination games.

Yeah, Hall's had an awesome tourney so far. If not for injuries the guy would be a consistent top player in the league.

This is a good example of why young players should participate in the WC if they want to make significant editions of team Canada. Most people knew that Hall was among Canada's best wingers, but he'd shown nothing of note internationally (or in the playoffs obviously). At least now he's showing that his game could possibly translate to international hockey.

Yeah that was his main problem in Edmonton all year. He usually played solid up until he decided to make a really dumb boneheaded play to cause a turnover. Hopefully he'll learn to minimize those with experience.

Not to discredit any player but "tearing it up" wouldn't normally be used when you have five points out of your team's 28 goals, or 18% direct contribution to team scoring.

Lander has been very good for Sweden. He's Forsberg's defensive conscience and driving the net good and making some plays. He's steady.

Which is/should be expected out of a young D.

Oiler fans love hearing this...he's really turned into a player

Hall is making a statement at the WHC...hopefully impressing McLellan

Yeah the OP has clearly been watching very closely.

This just in Canada's outrageous all star team has about 21 guys that are 'killing it'.

Hall looks great but so does the rest of the team the competition is pretty brutal compared to the talent level on canada.
