I am in board with team Dubas, how can you not be after today. 11m per is a good contract and allows us to ice a great team for years to come. This is a lot less then he could have gotten from other teams and percentage wise a fantastic cap hit for the best UFA ever!

Pretty standard. No significant information other than:
- Tavares said no mention of getting the C was involved in talks so far
- Contract was being put together this morning, decision came last night
- Tavares seemed really sad to leave NYI, saying decision came down to NY vs TOR (It doesn't seem like SJ was ever a likely option for him)
- Well spoken, seems excited to join but a bit wrung out emotionally from the process IMO (which is obvious, it's a HUGE decision to make).
