Yep that's a suspension. It's the Mike Richard's special.

The league did a good job getting these particular plays out of the game about 15 years back. You need to keep coming down on these to make sure they don't creep back in.

At least out for today's game with an "upper body" injury. Not sure why they play games. I'm not hearing anything official but I would expect more news in the buildup to the game tonight.

Some here post with their opinion of this hit by. Jeannot as ‘reckless’, but I don’t see it that way…IMHO it was a clear attempt to clip Boeser up high thus targeting the head…Jeannot appears to be looking right at Boeser as he makes contact.

I understand there’s deals in place between the league and the NHLPA to avoid lengthy suspensions, but to me this was worthy of 5 games, or more.

That looks rough bad enough taking the first hit but looks like he gets hit a 2nd time as hes falling into other kings player. Luckily he didn't get a skate blade or anything
