To finish with bottom 3 record can probably only take about 10 more points, which ain’t gonna happen. But every spot we move down increases odds of lucky balls.realistically, what sort of record would it take to have a great shot at a top 3 pick?
For starters, we would have to lose each of the eight games against the teams lower than us in the standings. In regulation.realistically, what sort of record would it take to have a great shot at a top 3 pick?
They can’t get together as a team in that time so I highly doubt it.This team has 11 days off now before the next game day. You’d think they do something in that time, right?
The draft team would pick someone 2-3 years away from playing in the NHL.IF we can somehow snag a 6th-8th spot that would be so helpful for us
trade Binnington for cap dumpsrealistically, what sort of record would it take to have a great shot at a top 3 pick?
The way this team has been this season........ I don't see that being entirely out of the question. For starters, we would have to lose each of the eight games against the teams lower than us in the standings. In regulation.
Thomas is still "Sore"This is the 4th time I've tried to log on just before or during a game, and being rejected with a message saying something about security issues. I looked at all my security settings in my computer, in my browser settings, ad blockers, etc. and nothing there should be blocking me. And, the fact that I got in now leads me to believe that nothing is wrong from MY end. Maybe my "ban" for "taking over threads" and posting Off Topic on them" goes off and on based on The Mods' moods???
Anyway, it doesn't matter much, as The Blues have lost all hope, and we might as well "embrace the tank". Has anyone heard any news on Thomas' injury?
I don't doubt that one bit, after watching that puck hit in the worst place possible. I imagine it would be very painful to change direction while skating (probably even just walking is very painful, and will be improving only very slowly over, at the very least, several more days.Thomas is still "Sore"
Team is far better than they’re playing. It’s shameful and pathetic to the logo on the chest.I don't know how ppl can be disappointed how team is performing knowing how bad this team is on paper.
To me team play as good what they are.

I’d say it’s closer to worst than 10th worst, too.Our lineup today had Noel Acciari and Ivan Barbashev in top 6 roles, and our defense is the same aging, not particularly good defense we've had all season. Maybe you can say this when we are fully healthy, but this current lineup is one of the 10 worst in hockey right now, and I don't think it's particularly close.
Looks like he's having a rough game.
