man Vancouver sucks, I feel bad for their fans. at least the Oilers fans can look back to the 80's fondly.

Out West
The Tuna Boat rows past, it's rower smiles broadly at you. He whispers, 'Better than some dinky train tank , huh?'

he failed to retain either of Husso or Lindgren, he gave Leddy more than what Perron asked for and now the Blues PP is crap (and Det's is good now). Sunny D is another piece. if he had bribed seattle to not take dunn they never would have needed leddy in the first place. maroon should have also been resigned.

the team doesnt seem to have the same compete level and they definitely dont have the size and grit to play Berube's style of shutdown hockey like they used to. each year he's moving the needle further away from what got them their Cup. keeping Tarasenko around after he asked to be traded probably hasnt helped either. Buch trade was fire though, might have been the best move of his tenure other than the ROR trade.
Husso wasn’t going to be able to stay in St. Louis given his play last season. An AAV of $4.75 mil would have put the Blues having a cap hit over $10 mil with him and Binnington as well as blocking Hofer. Lindgren got a 2 year deal, which would have likely blocked Hofer from playing in 2023-2024 in the NHL.

Sundqvist isn’t the same player he was before his injury and bottom 6 players are not irreplaceable. Him and Maroon aren’t irreplaceable.

Bribing Seattle to not take Dunn would’ve been silly as the Blues need picks for younger players to eventually

Well, they have a corpse coaching them.
its more than that, other than that Sedins/Luongo season they havent been good since Bure/Linden/Ronning and before that it was what, Richard Brodeur in '82? I think Buffalo is the only team to have historically worse playoff performances.

I hardly recognized him without his eyebrow stripes.
I've heard him in the past, maybe when he was doing some broadcast work the Leafs. It was bad. Still is.

I'm going to trust the accuracy of this post.

That is awful. And I've been a Canucks fan for as long as I can remember, but I'm not sure why. LOL

Vancouver Finals losses in 82, 94, 2011 so they're due for another Cinderella run finals loss around 2024/25.

Sabres lost in finals in 75 and 99. missed the playoffs A LOT, even in the smaller league when more than half the teams made it in every year.

'82 Nucks were 30-33-17, so their 3rd best season in franchise history they had a losing record. those poor fans.

Kyrou earning his money tonight.
