Since we have a GDT and no G, here are the teams to root for tonight:

The ones below us:
San Jose (-11 pts) over Winnipeg
Vancouver (-4) over Nashville(+9) (OT would be nice but not needed,)
Chicago (-12) over Ottawa (+9) (OT would be nice but not needed,)

The ones above us:
Washington (+9) over LA
Calgary (+8) over Dallas
Buffalo (+9) over Edmonton

Vancouver is the only important one. I don't think we are catching SJ or Chicago. Nor do I think we'll win enough games to pass Wash, Calgary, Ottawa, Nashville or Buffalo who are all 8 or 9 points above us. But better safe than sorry.
