Man Toropchenko has really had a nice streak going here, excited to see his growth this year and how he looks next year.

Thought Samorukov looked good out there, seemed to make a lot of smart simple plays and defended well.

Yes, he's been good enough to keep. He should be used in what ever role he's currently being used for. He seems to be doing well, not great but well.

I’m thoroughly surprised at how well and actually how chippy he has played. I was afraid he would be another feather duster.

IMO, there’s little to no separation between picks 9-12, where we’ll almost certainly be drafting. But opinions obviously vary. I’m not concerned. We’re basically guaranteed to get one of Sale, Dvorsky, Moore, Barlow, Leonard, Danielson (this assumes top 4, then Smith, Benson, and Cristall go before us - otherwise, include one of those).

It'll be a huge win for the franchise overall, but it'll still feel like we just got sucker punched in the gut to win the lottery but miss on Bedard.
