Yeah I am seriously confused about his play this year because up until 20 games ago his game was almost perfect.

It seems like he came into this year trying to add point producer to his resume, it didn’t go that well, he lost confidence, got saddled with Hamonic, and now he’s in no man’s land.

I wonder how he’d do if he got an offense first partner like Karlsson and we told him to channel Jacob Slavin and just play defense…

How much $ they have coming of the books next year if they don't trade anybody.
Just looked. About 10m and that's Giroux, Hamonic and Forsberg.
What can they do with that? It's tough because there are no prospects. Yak won't be ready and shouldn't be rushed, so let's not count him.

First coffee of the morning, allow me some slack. What a puzzle this is. Dorion really screwed this up.

Forsberg won't save much given that we'll need to pay someone to backup even if it isn't him.

A benefit of this season is the Cap is going up +$8 million so I think there will be tons of movement and I think the Sens will be able to move contracts.

So say they save 1m or 500k. You get what I mean.

Let's put that in the TunaBank and pretend it's not there.

I hope they can go on a heater and make the playoffs via wild card, then sell high on everyone except Stu and Sandy. Give up the first rounder this year and fully tank next year lol
