bergevin seems to be doing well but his coaching choices have been SUPER poor it seems

He is doing nothing to make this team better. Aside from the Vanek deal last season, he has not made many special moves. Most of his trades have been ones where he is trying to save himself from mistakes or get more depth, like this year with Mitchell and Flynn. This is going to be his fourth offseason and, yet, we are no better than when Gauhtier was here. In fact, the organization has been treading water for a couple of decades now relying on the same formula, having a goalie win games for them. Nothing has changed and we are still waiting for good players to come into the fold.

The game and the series is essentially over. The Habs cannot win four of five against the Bolts and cannot score more than one goal a game. The fact that we have had a grand total of three goals, with one being an empty net goal, from our forwards in the last five games speaks volumes to the lack of depth.

Carey Price can't make a big save to save his life. He needs to sit on the bench for a while and realise that this is the playoffs and he must perform. Play tokarski.

Reminder that Ghetto could have been playing the entire season in the top 9, had he not been demoted after a point in his first two games.

We are a worse team then we were last year. I'd take Gionta, Vanek & Briere back in a second over what we have now.

No real skill on this team.

That's pretty much the problem, no skill. Anyone who looks at our team can see we severely lack talent in our offensive group.

Therrien's system has slowly taken away the creativity of all our players.

What you see right now is a team that struggles to generate prime scoring chances and tries to score from sharp angles and perimeter shots.

He has to go, plain and simple. They need a modern coach, the game isn't the same anymore and he can't keep up.

The coaching is awful but Tampa just has a much better team and they obviously want badly to avenge that sweep from last season.

Habs coaching staff have made Oilers staff look good alle year.

Still can't wrap my mind around it that se were offensive dynamo in 12-13 with inferior lineup. With alle the upgrades to D and Prices play I just can't believe se can't score anymore.

We can't we are transitioning man, don't you know what that means? It means we don't give the young guys any ice time and make trades for only bottom line guys. We are desperately trying to waste our best players careers on awful role players, we would never want to make any real headway in the playoffs.

As much as I dislike DD, I would like to see what he is capable of under a different, more offensive oriented coach. Maybe they would use him in the 3rd line instead of the top-6.
