Knies is like a less polished Matthews. Maybe he's picking up moves from playing with him. He's very similar in how he doesn't quit moving his legs and keeps driving lanes. Matthews is incredible at making plays and pivoting straight into a sprint into an opening lane. Knies has been doing that very well this year too.

Doug and Wendel were before my time, but I still remember the Leafs trading for a 39 year old Gilmour in 2003 and how that ended in his first game. Was still sad to see him crawl off the ice after his knee injury in that first game after the trade (it was in Calgary, I believe). So unfortunate.
He would have had such an ovation at home.
So disappointing.

I had to walk away from the TV when I saw Dougie crawling on the ice before I needed to get a new tv

I hope you're right and have sage mode activated. If we blow this after last Saturday, we'll be the laughing stock of the league to the delight of every Habs fan.
Tampa's stars tend to pack it in when things are not going their way. The third period will likely be very boring, with an empty net goal with 3 or 4 minutes to play in the game. For me, this two points puts Florida out of reach given the gap between the two teams and their respective schedules the rest of the season.
