I know people have posted line-ups for tonight but there seems to be a couple differences in each.

The 2 things i am curious about are:

1) Will Nylander be playing wing or center? Since wing is the easier transition to the NHL it makes sense, but since he has played center all season in the AHL maybe they let him crack the line up as a center.

2) Will the Leafs put any combination of the Marlies together on one line since they would have chemistry (especially Nylander and Kapanen) or would they spread the players out and try to get a veteran of some sort with each kid to sort of help explain their jobs at the NHL level.

Also, i am curious about special teams, would the Leafs continue playing their normal PKer's or add guys like Hyman and Soshnikov since (and correct me if im wrong) i think they were PKer's on the Marlies.

Nylander #39
Kapanen #37

Who gave them these hideous numbers?

Seeing a right-handed forward wearing #39 will always remind me of Matt Frattin.

Since both guys have dads who were long time NHLer's i am curious if they decide to switch numbers later on or if they pull a Kadri and decide to make their rookie number their permanent number.

Don't PAP, Boyes and Grabner all have to go back into the line-up at the expense of the kids?

Some will probably be heading back to Marlies.

Quick, let's all take to twitter and criticize PAP's wife like we did with Reimer!

Pls no. Although Kapanen won't be able to claim his number until Bozak is traded

Never understood why fans care so much about what number a player wears.

me either. like. i can get some (even if I didn't agree) why people feel the way they do about a lot of things - but the number fetish? don't get it.

will never understand what a Defense number vs. a Goalie number vs. a Forward number is, and why there are gross numbers and awesome numbers.

it's an identification tag. it doesn't matter, y'all.

Personally, I usually associate lower numbers with bad players because of EA games. Though, I don't mind having less than 29 because no player is that bad.
