Yes they did and you can clearly see head contact prior to Cernak’s head hitting the glass.

This was simply a bad and dumb hit. Not the worst or close to it… but very clearly suspension worthy.

Okay, that I can see. To be fair, Mueller was one hard check away from being done even if it had been done legally but yes, Blake's check was pretty dirty IIRC.

The one that doesn't get talked about enough is my all-time favorite Av Matt Hunwick slamming the head of his former Bruins teammate Marc Savard into the glass, ending his career. And yes, his career was hanging on by a thread at that point anyway but Hunwick never laid a big hit on ANYONE during his time, then just happened to choose to hit a guy in the head? Ugh...

Anyway, I digress. Stienburg is doin' the time and hopefully learns a bit better balance because the previous hit on Zemgus Girgenssons was f***in' AWESOME.

IIRC he had one with Arizona prior and one in the Dub that was known. As with most hockey players, they've had more than were diagnosed though.

The best thing Mueller ever did for himself was getting over to play in Europe. Not nearly as many issues there in this area, and from there he's had a pretty decent career.

Oh he definitely had concussion issues before that, you could see it in the way he played, I've never seen a player avoid contact more than he did.
