DJ told me the line-ups are the same except the Korpy comes in.

The Tampa Bay Lightning visit the Ottawa Senators after Steven Stamkos scored two goals in the Lightning’s 6-4 loss to the Detroit Red Wings.

The Senators welcomed home Daniel Alfredsson with a 5-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers. Brady Tkachuk and Jakob Chychrun both scored twice to help Ottawa win. Anton Forsberg collected the win in goal for the Senators. This means that Joonas Korpisalo will be the goalie after coach D.J. Smith went with Forsberg in Saturday’s game. The last game was more of what Ottawa fans have been wanting from their club the last couple of seasons.

Tampa is reeling and you can never count the team out. However, an unknown goalie against a good Ottawa team could spell a second straight Senators win.

Prediction: Senators win 5-3. (from last word on sports)

Need to take advantage with Tampa missing their star goaltender. 2 points against a cup contending divisional rival is what makes the difference down the stretch

Noticed in the second, last night, Hammer was playing with Sanderson, and Branny with Zub, maybe because of the bad first period by Branny. Not sure about tonight.

Hamonic and Sanderson had just 0:49 together at 5v5. They are a PK pair, probably just time together following a PK. Brannstrom and Zub had 2:51 together, they are also a PK pair but may have had shifts together following a PP. Chabot and Zub had 2:07 togther as well, likely taking shifts together after a PP.

So I guess that whole notion about Norris playing today went out the window pretty fast uh.
I never bought that. He needs a full healthy practice and some PP time before he is ready to go. IMO he should retroactively go on LTIR and come back for the Canucks game on Nov 9, ensuring that he is ready and getting us a badly needed million in cap space. Not sure why this is so difficult for Dorion to grasp...
