It’s pretty close between the two but I went with Hedman in the end: Best defenseman in franchise history, has a Norris (should’ve been at least two) and a Conn Smythe and over almost a decade has consistently been at the top of “hardest to play against” rankings by NHL players.Wow. I'm the only one who went Stammer? Captain of the b2b, more hardware than Hedman, set the precedent of taking discounts? How short our memories are?
Hedman is great, don't get me wrong, but I'd put Stammer ahead of him.
His "hardware" is two Rockets - how is that more than a Conn Smythe and a Norris (not to mention how many times top 10 in Norris voting)?Wow. I'm the only one who went Stammer? Captain of the b2b, more hardware than Hedman, set the precedent of taking discounts? How short our memories are?

@JoVel made the thread, lower your standards for clarity tbhI guess it depends to me what we're actually voting on. Pure skill? What they brought/meant to the franchise? Just who you liked best? "Greatest Lightning of all Time" is a little vague and up for lots of debate.
I just left a little room for interpretation like any true artist.@JoVel made the thread, lower your standards for clarity tbh![]()
