As a big MSL fan... I gotta go with Victor. Marty and Vinny were my heroes but Hedman has been at the top so long, with us the whole way, a Norris, a CS, tough to overlook what he's meant to our backend for like 14 years. Had MSL stayed, him no problem.

Struggled between MSL and Hedman. Went with Hedman. I just think that he’s the most pivotal piece of this era and his run as a top defenseman in the league is remarkable. That Conn Smythe he won doesn’t get as much respect across the league as it should, he scored so many key goals on that run.

This is probably the single greatest playoff run by any player in this franchise's history. Yeah I think it tips the scale for Hedman for me.

Hedman will likely wind up ahead of MSL on most NHL all time lists. Vasy is tougher to place. After the 2022 SCF, he was trending toward some historical territory, but of course his game fell off until this year. I'm not sure who to choose between Vasy and MSL.
