Voted Johnson, mainly for the peak years, but I'm second guessing it now and thinking maybe I should have gone with Killer for the consistency. Johnson had two really strong playoff runs too, and was arguably our best skater in the 2015 SCF run.

And he had an impact on the 2021 cup win.

I think Killorn's 2021 run is quite underappreciated too. Probably our third best forward behind just Kucherov and Point. And he had a couple of other really good playoff runs too.

But yeah, Johnson's entire 2014-15 season is quite a bit better than anything Killorn did, both regular season and playoffs. That player is probably one of my favorites all time, even if it lasted for just one season.

Modin scoring 30 goals should be a vote for him alone. Dude was dropping 40 goals in the dead era. Killer, Palat, and TJ couldn't do that with wide open offensive days.

01 to 05. The top players were scoring 120 points compared to 140 and you got mugged a lot more every play and every shift. The current playoffs were less physical then most regular season games.

Did you really just highlight 05-06 when Johnson scored 29 goals in a year where the leading scorer had 87 points
Did you quote the right guy?

I am so f***ing confused in this thread. I got one guy saying Modin scored 40 when he hit 31 and then you're putting (Tyler?) Johnson in 2005-2006 when Johnson was 15 years old lmao

I think what Sky means here is "did you highlights Modin's 2005-06 season, when Johnson scored 29 in 2014-15 (Jamie Benn's 87 point Art Ross season)".
