Dyllan Gill with 17 points in 18 games since returning to the QMJHL.

His +18 is top 20 among defensemen in the Q even though most of them have played 50+ games

First game back from IR.

ECHL refs are calling a lot of unsportsmanlike conduct penalties lately. Maybe something to look out for making its way to the NHL.

Isaac Howard's set of games against Notre Dame on Friday (today) and Saturday will be available to stream on Peacock.

Crunch make a 4-3 comeback and get it done in the shootout

- Finley scores his 8th. He has 6 goals in his last 9 games

- Duke ties the game with the goalie pulled with under 3 minutes left. That's his 16th goal of the season. Bouchard had Duke, Crozier, Finley, Sheary, Pouliot, and Geekie on the ice.

- Groshev scores with a Colton like move in the shootout, and Geekie wins it. First star for Geeks

2 assists and a win for Kurth as Minnesota ends their regular season as Co-Big Ten Champs with Isaac Howard and Michigan State. Next up is the Big Ten Tournament

Assist for Powell

Goals in back to back games for Flinton. His 10th of the season.

Goal #22 for Pitre

Crunch try to make another 3rd period comeback, but lose 5-4 in OT. With 12 losses in OT/SO this season, more than any other AHL team, Syracuse has left a lot of points on the table

- Finley with 1 goal and 1 assist. He's been hot. 7 goals, 12 points in his last 10 games
- Crozier scores his 6th

1 goal + 2 assists for Gauthier

A third of Syracuse games have gone to OT. Haven't seen anything like it.

The newest Lightning prospect, Harvard's Kyle Aucoin is playing his first round ECAC tournament game against RPI tonight at 7 on ESPN+.

Aucoin is a senior, so lose, and his NCAA career is over.

Teams will start rapidly dropping out of contention soon, and the flood of college free agents will really start. USports, AHA, and Independent NCAA teams have started to let out guys to the minor leagues.

Groshev will be provided the opportunity to work with the National Hockey League’s Player Inclusion Coalition to participate in education and training on racism and inclusion. He may apply to AHL President and Chief Executive Officer Scott Howson for a reduction to the suspension and reinstatement after eight (8) games based on an evaluation of his progress with the NHL PIC.

Crunch lose 4-1 to Utica

- Geekie scores the lone goal, Duke with the assist

Hay scores his 13th of the season

As someone who's followed him pretty closely (just checked his Eliteprospects page for the first time this season), he sucks pretty bad. Probably a good bet that he'll be back in the KHL next season.
Oh yeah. He done. Like, done-done. I just figured the guy got chained to the bench at SKA because it's not uncommon for that to happen young players. That his development was stipled because of it. Yeah. Nevermind. He's not good enough for even the AHL. It's a shame. I had really high hopes for him and wish him well. I hope he finds a job and is happy doing it

Kurth with 1 goal + 1 assist

4th goal of the season for Golicic

Kyle Chyzowski, who was a prospect tournament invite of ours last September, will join Hagen Burrows at Denver next season.

Chyzowski in his 20 year old season is 5th in goals (39g), and 4th in points (98pts) in the WHL as the regular season nears its end

Reece Newkirk in particular makes sense for a recall. He's been very productive. 8 pts in 5 games. He should really have another goal, if the ref wasn't so quick with the whistle.
