This Latvia team showed a lot of heart in this tournament. They are not going to be an easy out by any means.
Beautiful moment for the Latvians. In a way this is their championship (though, who's to say they wont mount more surprises).

How is that getting "screwed"? Doesn't seem to be much difference - particularly with Latvia playing in front of its own fans.

incorrect, Latvia finishes with a tie in points with Czechia and has the head-to-head tiebreaker from their 4-3 OT win, so Latvia finishes 3rd and Czechia 4th in the group. Latvia will face Sweden and Czechia will face USA.

Streaks are made to be broken my friend
Finally a successful tournament with no silly loses to weaker teams. It was really tiring to see the team get all the necessary points from a "top" team to get into play offs only to then lose to, for example, Norway or Kazakhstan over and over again.

Slovak fans on social media complaining about Swiss players resting for this game. Yet absolutely silent about the roster selections such as Lunter, Okuliar, Timasi, Ivan, Kudrna, etc etc. Hilarious

A bit wrong.. We have defeated Sweden before in SO. It was 2009 WC if I'm not mistaken.
