Having good players on the third/fourth line is not a bad thing. I'm sure we all remember Hagelin-Bonino-Kessel torching us in 2016.

I prefer to recall Bura-Eller-Connolly torching other teams in 2018, but that's just me.

Really disappointing news about Fehervary. He's fast, physical, takes good angles, and plays 20 tough minutes a night.

AA is not going to provide all that. It's a big loss. But oh well, what can you do.

Finally getting a chance to come in here after being at the game last night. If i did post anything, if might have been incoherent by the time i got back as we hit multiple bars on way home.

McMichael was really flying out there last night. Just wish he could finish a bit more but he looked damn good out there. The whole second line looked awesome 5x5. Seemed like they were constantly out there.

Alexeyev also really stood out. Played a bit conservatively position wise, but also stepped up for some shots. He got more confident with shot as game went on.

As a team… exactly what i wanted to see. Domination from the start. Hard on the puck. Fast and physical. Liked all of it save for the 10 minute, two-goal stretch. Sucked when we went to OT.

lastly… crowd was awesome last night. Electric! Let’s go Caps from the puck drop and a lot of noise. OV goals always makes it great! Our captain wants another cup!
