You look at the Zac Jones situation in NY, for example, where young players might not get the ice time they want or deserve and end up complaining to the media or requesting a trade. It says a lot about AA’s character to trust the staff and commit to the team like he has.

And he’s a former Caps first rounder who had horrible injury early on. I watched his interview a few games ago and he was completely class act like Protas in interviews. I love watching home grown players blossom in the system.

I would honestly think about sitting Lars and seeing how CMM would do as 3C. Eller is not very good.

i had this same thought but McMike hasn't played center in a long while now. Not sure a playoff game is the right time to test him.

If you drop McMichael to L3 you essentially have the best PK and SHG scoring unit as your L2 when Protas returns. Beau-V and OV forever! I also think CMM + Lars + Leonard could be something.

Well we won. Ovie looked good and energized. LT looked sharp, wouldn’t blame either goal on him. Team looked better defensively, not great, but better. But man we need that other scorer right now. Not enough danger opportunities on offense IMO.
