I give the Habs credit for putting it on in the third. Caps didn’t panic and Ovy’s OT winner is another notch in his terrific career. Even better how he scored it. Somebody check on Ferraro.

They dominated for 50 minutes. The response to their 1st goal was definitely a problem and something they need to work on. But they reset in OT and won the game, which is all that matters. A lot to build on (the first 50 minutes) and a key area they know needs to get better (not turtling after that 1st goal - the first 10 mins of the 3rd were great). Come out hard again in game 2 and set the tone.

Tbh I was more disappointed in Chych tonight than Eller. Basically got what we expected to see from Lars, definitely not Bands.

I actually thought Eller played better than he has down the stretch.

Dubois had a so so game. Took a bad penalty that really changed the momentum.

Agree Chych played well for the first half or so and then struggled.

Beau was excellent and not just the points. Played a great complete game.
