GDT: Sweden vs Germany

Ok for next year, we have to clone Draisaitly, Seider and Stützle.
Just that we can have them on hand if needed ^^

But well they can play better than that even without those players. We all know that.
But they have not shown that so far. And that is frustrating.

Germany did not look good. They might struggle to make the QF. The game against Latvia will be important for them. Feels like it is between Germany and Latvia for that fourth QF spot. Slovakias victory against the US probably secured them a place in the medal round.

A miracle run doesn't somehow turn Germany into a contender.

And it's worth noting that losing your only elite defender makes quite a difference in terms of roster quality.

Germany does have the odd game in them where they can compete with or even best a contender, and sometimes it can even lead to a little run far into the tournament, like last year, or at the 2018 Olympics, But overall, the likelyhood of Germany actually beating a team like Sweden ist still rather low.
Germany is ranked above Sweden, Czechia and Switzerland in the IIHF ranking.
