Thank you for the information, you guys been solid in recently therefore i though you guys had a solid squad this year as well.

Honestly, I'm happy with how the Czechs have played... lots of good to build on. I predicted 4-1 Sweden so that probably won't be accurate as they have 1 more period and are taking the game from us.

Maybe they had a few lucky bounces but they created those bounces and capitilized on them.

Swedes had rust, small rink, covid issues, missing coaches and it took them about 30 mintues to take the game over. The Ennifell save rings large on Teply.

Hope Klikorka is okay.. we can't afford too many injuries.

I don't blame Malik in the slightest but do think Parik should start the next game. Then pick whoever was better against our third top 5 opponenet in a row.

Maybe they gain some confidence back from not allowing another goal on the PK at the end?
Not looking good.

Those happen. Do they get a goal if he doesn't not jump into the middle and then miss the net? Sound like a sour guy lol

why would I be sour as a Canadian Habs fan....zero dog in this fight.

Am I striking a nerve by pointing out his wild puck luck in this game on the other hand? Do they score if the player doesn’t make the pass to Broberg first? Or the player before that? A lotta plays leading up to a goal need to happen.

He misses the net twice and wraps it around the boards and gets 3 assists.

as he should. I used to hate when my line mates did that - such an immature move.
depends on the player imo, i know talented guys that get laser focused on doing it themselves even if there's nothing there and if you can snap em out of it for a second you can give them a better option

As an Oiler fan... thrilled to see Broberg with 3 points in one period. Keep it up!

He's never going to be an .ppg player in the NHL, isn't his game but the skating and dominance are. He looks great to me.

Raymond needs to relax, he's not even playing bad. Doing something positive pretty much every time he touches the puck. You cant score every shift

Period of horror. That third goal was crucial, then the Czechs completely lost their rhythm and have been just struggling. It is also about the fragile mental setting of junior players. They got a PP, were all hoping for the equalizer, and allowed a goal after a terrible mistake instead. After that, the entire team completely broke down, if the goalie wasn't pretty solid it could easily be 6-1. Let's see if they can fix at least something into the third period, but frankly I would say this game is over. Pity because 30 mins they didn't play bad at all.

Keep up missing the net and wrapping pucks around the boards....?

What do you mean ‘even if that were true’...it is true.

I just know fans are going to say wow look how well his offense is developing. Always the narrative when players have this amount of puck luck.

Well it isn’t. On the PK goal he fished the puck out of the face off circle and traffic, sent it to his D partner behind the net, who then sent it up the ice where it found a teammate.

Doesn’t sound lucky to me.

No one is claiming that he’s going to be the next Karlsson, but you don’t have to nitpick.

And even the other goals, sure they’re a bit hokey but they all count the same. Intentional or not, it contributed to a goal and he was one of the last people to touch the puck before it went in the net so it’s an assist. That’s just hockey.

I was more impressed with his defensive play and physicality than anything else.

Those were areas he needed to work on and he’s clearly improved there. His skating is fantastic and especially for a guy with his size it’s impressive.

Luck usually happens more often to good players.

As a FLA fan, that 3rd goal was probably the end of our hopes to win this game but nice to see Heineman get one...
