Marchand should be with Sid they have great chemistry.

Stone surprised me tonight and he has the smarts to play with Sid and MacKinnon. His 2 way game compliments Sid and MacKinnon really well.

I'd try Marchand with McDavid. He's not the fastest but Marchand has a nose for the net.

Coaches need to stop hating and have personal vendettas against certain players. Zero real reason Thompson isnt there and starting.

Mack shows McDavid whose the best everytime they play against one another. He dominates everytime

dominates by skating in straight lines until he shoots every time. Hedman read him like a book on the rush every time, didn't even try to play a pass because he knew one wasn't ever coming. Super talented player but it was one dimensional and unimpressive from mack tonight

Switch Mackinnon with McDavid next game. McDavid is more cerebral than Mac. Mac needs guys to get him the puck and let him bulldoze his way through. Reinhart and Marner would work better. Also we would finally get to see the 2 generational players play together. Both players complement each other

IIRC McDavid and Mackinnon had the same dynamic when they played together on team North America. MacK wants to do everything himself, which is fine but it wastes the best player in the world.

Keep them apart and swap one of Marner/Reinhart for someone who is a bit better in the corners.

Why did Cooper play Sid so little especially in overtime . 17 mins for the game . Did he get injured again ?

I think it's because Crosby isn't the fastest skater at the age of 37 so it's a bit dangerous in 3v3.

There's a reason MacKinnon and McDavid were always out there on 3v3. So much open ice. He let Crosby in on the end when players were tired.
