This is a huge mistake from your team Sweden. Dahlin will be eaten alive (so to speak).
He is def. not ready to represent team Sweden at the Pyongyang Olympics.
I might be biased to say this but,...your team does not look good.
Obviously not.the WJC is at higher level than this olympics
the WJC is at higher level than this olympics
No chanceWJC teams would get steamrolled by these olympic teams. Like 15-0
You do realize that most players at the WJC will never reach pro level, right? No chance

He'll be fine.
And the Olympics are not going to be held in North Korea.
No chance
A caveat here. The Post has learned that management is weighing sending Andersson to the Wolf Pack once the center completes rehab on the shoulder he injured in captaining Sweden to the silver medal in the World Juniors. If the center proves capable, he could be in New York playing for the Rangers, rather than back in Gothenburg playing for Frolunda, within the next month or so.

I've seen one too many suggest Dahlin should be an extra D on this team, to watch and learn in favor of the likes of Fransson and Ahnelöv.
So I'm gonna say it, I want him to be in the top-4 and first PP. I think he'll be even better in high-paced surroundings and be a leading player on this team. Better teammates will suit him. Doesn't matter that he's 17, he can do things on the ice that other players can't. His chances of doing what Laine did two years ago at a similar level(WCH) are equally as good, their mentality is similar and they're not fazed by anything. He's putting up 40+ points in the NHL next season, and might aswell get a head start now.
10/90 he will play in the NHL.
2 seasons until he plays his first game
Lidström was 22 when he finished his rookie season in the NHL
Salming was 24 when he put up 40 point season in the NHL
Karlsson was 21 when he put up 40 point season in the NHL
Kronwall was 27 when he put up 40 point season in the NHL
CJohansson was 21 when he finished his rookie season in the NHL
Öhlund 21, rookie season
Enström was 26 when put up 40 point season in the NHL
OEL was 23 when he got his 40 point season
Hedman was 24 when he got his 40
There is 0,00% chance for Dahlin to score 40 points next season.
60/40 he will play in the SHL, 30/70 he will play in the AHL
10/90 he will play in the NHL.
This is a d-man, a 17 year old d-man,he is not a forward,he is a d-man.
Its super difficult as a 18 year old forward to break in the NHL
its even more so for European forwards, its insane difficult for 18 year
old d-men to break in the NHL,European,18 year old,d-man.............
its astronomical.
2 seasons until he plays his first game, another 2 when he scores his 40 points.
