If Naslund and Forsberg can't go (well Naslund cant), Sweden will have two exciting Lite versions ready to go (and red hot!)

Enter Daniel Sedin and Henrik Sedin

Both are Vancouver's top players as of the past 2 months, and Henrik is absolutely on fire right now

They are playing with supreme confidence and the big ice should improve their creativity and timing.

Fear not Sweden.

If only Anson Carter could come with them.

Well if I'm Swedish I'd be worrying. Naslund is gone already, Forsberg is possibly not going to go. The Sedins aren't elite talents that can step up and replace those guys. Geez as a Canadian I'm nervous about Niedemayer not being on the team, imagine if Thornton or Brodeur or Heatley go down that'd be awful.

What's this non-sense? :shakehead

The Sedins would have been on the team in any case and are not even close to Naslund and especially Forsberg.

No, the Sedins can't compare to Naslund or Forsberg, but they have been so good this season. Henrik has 16 points in his last 10 and 39 assists as of last night. Daniel's around the same (obviously). But then again, they might play differently for Sweden? :dunno:

I would take the twins before Näslund in the national team, they were our best line in the Worlds and Näslund has only been good in one tournament ever and tend to dissapear in the big games. Forsberg however, nobody can replace him. But no worries, he'll be at the Olympics. He missed the last one and no way he will miss this one if nothing really, really, really bad happens.
