If Djurgården wins today, do anyone think Kimby will let Frondell go to U18? They would then be 3-0 up, only 1 win away from promotion. Unless theres a injury in Djurgården, i believe he comes. Djurgården fans think he's been out of form and i doubt Kimby think Frondell is the most important player in the squad. Him being extra forward today makes me believe!

So, no injuries to Djurgården and a win today and i bet we will see Frondell just in time for the opener

Frondell had a pretty bad game but players who have been even worse in other games, or many games (like Costmar, who was even worse in G2, took forever for Larsson to go out of the lineup, etc.) have a way longer leash. Frondell does bad once and he's out.

After 8-3 vs Canada last night and 3 helpers from Ivar Stenberg, he now has 38 points in 22 games with the national team this season. Pretty darn impressive numbers. Needs 1 more point to surpass Alex Zetterberg’s all-time scoring record.

my wishful thinking is that he comes in time for the second group stage game. He hasnt played today so far and Djurgården will be 3-1 with next game at their home arena, and with Gidlöf in net who looks good and secure

Really really looking forward to watching Ivar Stenberg perform at this tournament. I don't think he is getting enough hype for the 26 draft. A solid performance in this tournament will wake a lot of us North Americans up.
