They are both legitimately the two best goalies in the CHL and have been having great years. There was actual reason to think these two would perform well but there is some weird voodoo on teenage Canadian goalies at this tournament.

I am not sure if I wanna agree with that statement. The 2nd one would be a classic Fleury goal. Even though it's not even like weak weak in a sense that this is a normal safe he doesn't make. This was just really really unfortunate and no one thought that the shot would end up like this and yes it should be an easy safe but he was probably not expecting something like this at all

They're both good goaltending prospects. I can't believe there are posters with as high of a post count posting the kind of garbage that they are.

Marc-Andre Fleury lost us this tournament against the US in.. I wanna say 2004..? When he decided to try to clear the puck through a oncoming forechecker. I've never forgiven him.

Goaltending is always Canada's cross to bare at WJCs.
