I don’t know what it is about Christmas. I have always counted the months, weeks and days right when the current one ended as of the very next day I was off and counting. It’s just such a magical time. It’s the feel of the season. It’s the coziness while watching a Christmas movie snuggled under a Christmas blanket with the tree lights blinking in the background! It’s the fun, cheery Christmas songs and the delicious eggnog and treats that you can only find around the month of December. I love the season. I love the feel. I look forward to it all the time. It’s almost like I’m always chasing after Christmas. But, unless you are a raving lunatic like me, you won’t understand and that’s why I love hf boards because I can talk about something I love whenever I want to no matter the season or month. I love my Christmas Elves. You all make me so happy and I enjoy telling you things and discussing Christmas related items.. it’s so much fun. Thank you for being here with me. It’s so appreciated!!
Ah, the Spirit of Christmas DOES still remain among us.Shut the f*** up.
I always try to beat the Christmas Rush.Too early for the Christmas Spirit. I don't really start to feel the full seasons societal rage until a week before...
Whomst is ready for autumn?
Omg sweater weather and pumpkin spice lattes just around the corner!
P.S. Is ix in Vegas yet?
Ah that's right, I forgot you used to reply back to your own posts right away on your VickAshley accountI consider the autumn months to be moreso weather for sweater vests and puffer vests not full-on sweaters.
Thanks
Report from 10 miles from the Atlantic Ocean: 59 deg F, cloudy and damp today...a few weeks before, we just went through a 55(!) day cycle without measurable rainfall. Towns here are still banning outdoor water use.90 f***ing degrees today in Denver.
I want to move to the ocean.

I used to live in South Florida, and years ago at the gym I overheard someone saying "Yeah I'm going to Fort Lauderdale in September, after the heat goes down a little bit."One more day before the Fall Equinox.. Say bye to Summer. Though down here its merely symbolic. We still have over a month of humid weather to get through.
I can vouch.I used to live in South Florida, and years ago at the gym I overheard someone saying "Yeah I'm going to Fort Lauderdale in September, after the heat goes down a little bit."
After internally laughing, I informed him he was going at possibly the most humid time of the entire year, and that he'd need a shower approximately 10 seconds after leaving his hotel.
After his trip, he informed me that I was right.
One year in Coral Gables I ran the AC for all but like, less than a week. But we had a mango tree in the yard so that was freaking awesome.I can vouch.
We don't get relief until about late October at the earliest.
Yup. We get semi frequent autumn breezes throughout October that kinda cools everything off but the humidity doesnt start to drop til about NovemberI can vouch.
