Hellebuyck is the proven commodity so I go with him.

This can certainly change. Goalies like Bobrovsky and Barrasso struggled in the playoffs, but turned it around later and became good playoff goalies. Many goalies do this.

Do I think Hellebuyck will become a good playoff goalie? Yes, and then I'll rank him above Swayman. But until then, I'm ranking Swayman ahead.

Swayman because I’m confident he’s really good and he’s a lot younger. Hellebuyck may outperform Swayman a bit the next few years but I think Swayman could massively outperform Hellebuyck in the later years.

In a vacuum it's Hellebuyck, no question. In reality its a coin flip. The Hellebuyck contract is gonna be a tough pill to swallow in 2-3 years and 5.5 years of age difference is an eternity in goalie time

Swayman has one playoffs where he plays well and he’s a more proven playoff goalie than Hellebuyck? Hellebuyck took Winnipeg to the conference finals at a younger age than Swayman is now
