Just shuffling chairs on the Titanic while avoiding the real elephant in the room.

The issue I have is I'm not even sure we know what these two players can actually do because we've had an idiot behind the bench who refuses to develop them or give them ice time.

The other issue I have is we could've turned ZLH into Dylan Cozens but Barry's cheap ass wouldn't pay the price.

I’m sorry but it hasn’t even been a month yet. Maybe hold off on the freak out? We have no idea what the plan is. I’m sure a lot more is coming and a lot of it will seem odd. Hopefully he sticks the landing sooner (a year or two) than later (five years).

Exactly, the Avs still need to offload Nichushkin, so we know we'll see at least one more acquisition soon

Well...meh? Tough to assess anything until we see the rest of the offseason (and even beyond). Doubt this is the last Av/former Av/Blue Jacket we'll see in or hopeful prospect/youngster moved out this summer. Among other things though, Avs obviously needed to move both of these guys out for Cap reasons and feels like we made it too easy for them.

Will miss the player I hoped ZLH could be, won't miss the questionable bullshit he's capable of though
