Suzuki, Caufield and the Mystery man.

Martin St-Louis tried a whole lot of option during that camp in search of that Mystery man
Monahan, Pearson, Heineman, Newhook, Anderson, Dach.........There's not much left to try that would make sense.

Suzuki and Caufield are not the biggest guys so their 3rd guy need to have some size, wthich limit further the options.

So who's the one that you would choose to play with Cole and Nick?
.......or maybe the answer is to put Caufield with Dach at center which would make sense....big center, small winger.....

I say don’t handicap yourself and put caufield with any and everyone. He can play anywhere in the lineup on any give. Night. Suzuki can produce with anyone as well.

Monahan. I personally don't like Caufield-Suzuki as an ES duo (Suzuki's defence has disappeared since they got put together), but if you're keeping them together you want a smart player that will play a 200 foot game and ideally a veteran with experience. Monahan is the only player in the lineup that fits that description.

Someone with size like Monahan. He is Able to control the puck in tight space. He is also able to win a lot of puck battle.. 2 element that caufield and Suzuki aren’t the best. When Newhook was on the line, they were playing mostly on Periphery.

Anderson handle the puck like a grenade but he is skate really fast and create some space. Dach, I prefer to see him at center position

I think it's the long term goal. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a look if things really start clicking this season for him.

Don’t care. In my opinion i would put Caufield with Dach.

Slaf has to play top 6 otherwise i’m not watching this year, especially if guys like RHP plays in front of him.

Monahan has experience playing with top line talent. He and Gaudreau were a dynamic duo. … and he’s only 28, turning 29 soon. If healthy and productive, he could stick around.
