Trailer looks pretty good IMO.

I find James Gunn's humor to be tiring, I hope it's toned down in the film.

I think this will do very well.

Anyone want to take a bet that after the "You have a dog?" line, he says "Well technically he's my cousin Kara's dog, I'm just looking after him while she's off-world."?

I like that it’s not another origin story type movie and not only is he established but there are other established heroes as well.

Should be interesting to see how they can execute it

Rachel Brosnahan just looks the part of Lois!
I think she'll be up there with Teri Hatcher and Erica Durance as the best live action Lois

With a $225 million budget, “Superman” needs to cross the $700 million threshold at the global box office to be considered a success, according to a top talent agent who spoke to TheWrap but wished to remain anonymous.

It is currently projected to open with 154-175 million dollars, which would still make it the highest DC opening.

Also:

Before Gunn and Safran’s hiring, Warner Bros. Pictures chiefs Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy briefly tried to get a standalone Henry Cavill-led “Superman” film going in 2022, with Michael Bay eyed to possibly direct, according to two insiders.
