I've lived in Houston for 9 NFL seasons and I dont think they've ever had an average offensive line. The clock is ticking with Stroud on his rookie contract. Their defense, quarterback, and receivers are Super Bowl caliber, defensive coaching too. Their offensive line is nowhere close though. They need to find a way to get that unit above terrible for 2025.

I'm not too worried about the tackles.

This seems like a good draft for IOL, so we should prioritize snagging a guard there. Sign another veteran and then just hope the OL coaching improves, I guess.

This has been displayed before though this Eagles team just shows you how teams grow throughout the year. September was basically their preseason and I think Saquon said something similar. After they let the Falcons and Kirk drive down the field so easily and score a touchdown that lost them the game i thought their defense wasn't improved from last year. How wrong I was. After the bye they were 16-1 with a margin of victory of 14. Dominant.

Saquon makes the catch in that game, and then if AJ and DeVonta (DeJean too) play against Bucs, Hurts doesn’t get injured in Washington, how close were they to being perfect?

Probably looking at a 1 loss season though the game in Tampa was terrible. Think they would have lost that game even if AJ, Devonta, and Lane play. TBF the Jags got to their 20 yard line down 5 and they needed Nakobe to intercept Trevor in the endzone and Tucker cost the Ravems a bunch of points as well. So they had a few close calls for them.

I know you remember but the Saints were the favorite in week 3 against them. If they played 3 months later the Eagles would have been favored by 10+. Goes to show you how they grew. I mean they were 6-0 against the AFC with a margin of victory of 11 (which is great) and their closest games were with the Jags and Browns. Objectively one of the best teams in the salary cap era (30 years it started)

I also said that the wrong team was favored in the Tampa game.

They needed 3 guys to run into each other against the Saints too.

But you take more out of when they play the better teams. On the scoreboard, they played their best against those teams.

It’s a week-to-week league.
