Doesn’t feel like 2017 did (nothing will), but really wild to just know for the last hour that it was in the bag.

Every yard gained after like 45 yards was in garbage time, so we held them to about 50 yards while the game still mattered.

Unbelievable

Vic Fangio - another one. Huge part coaching the dome patrol as linebackers coach that never won a playoff game. Got bad mouthed by Dolphins players last year. Got a second chance at a Super Bowl here. And his big free agent signing was a huge bust that he wasn’t afraid to put on ice. Bryce Huff was deactivated for this game.

Regarding Fangio, you should be thanking the Miami veteran defensive players, they all said that his defense was too much to understand and that they quote on quote gave up on him at the backend of 2023.

@ Huff, that contract was a mistake the second he signed it. As a Jets fan, I still do the Reddick pseudo swap with you guys, Huff was a garbage time demon and showed very little to prove that he was a full time NFL starter. Props on Fangio for realizing that super early, pretty sure he said that Huff needed a ton of work as soon as training camp started but allowed him to start and eventually he lost his job through merit.

Was never close. Game was over once Mahomes threw the pick 6.
KC D was holding out well.
Refs, didn’t like the OPI on first series on that 4th down. Didn’t like the unnecessary roughness on that high throw to goeddert. But those 2 at least basically evened out.

Don’t think the late hit by Bolton on Barkley should have been called. Gave phi a first down on what was going to be a 3rd and 26. Drive did stall but Philly would have punted sooner. That was the series before the baun pick. They started at the 6. Who knows about the play call if they are at their own 15-20 instead.

Speaking of Fangio, the idiots in the media kept blabing all week about Mahomes's 8-0 record against him completly devoid of context that it wasn't THIS defense. The amount of money these hacks are paid to mouth off this bullshit is insane.

The Eagles since the bye week were 16-1 with a margin of victory of 14 points a game and the one game they lost Jalen was concussed in the 1st quarter. Historical team.

Eagles will open at home vs one of
Raiders, broncos, rams, bears, lions or divisional foes giants, cowboys, commanders.

Best game would be Lions. But Fox likely aiming to protect that one.

Guessing it will be either Rams or Bears.

Reddick has to be sitting in his house with his head in his hands after tonight. Devante Parker was supposed to be on the team and he retires in training camp.

And then it's even more bizarre considering they spent more money on Huff than Barkley. There was a time early in the season where it was going to be him and Devin White.

And then they only had 7 home games.

The Mahomes is Jordan needs to stop. Another Super Bowl he got the crapped kicked in. The Fangio is 0-8 against at him was hilarious all along. Never did Vic had a team anywhere near this Eagles team.

Meh, Reddick probably doesn't give a shit. He wouldn't have asked out if he legit cared for a ring + I'm starting to think he was part of the locker room issue in 2023.

There were elements to that as it seemed that he was starting to care about only getting sacks, so Matt Patricia started putting him in coverage so he couldn’t.

Lol Reddick played coverage a few snaps here and there for the Jets this year and looked completely lost, so that tracks. I don't fault him for wanting him a bag after being replaced in Arizona/Philly when it was time to pay big time for his services but the guy got the worst advice from his agents.

I think it was Chip that said big people beat up smaller people. Not sure it was verbatim though that was what happened this game. KC has no shot. Saquon averaged less than than 3 yards per carry and they still got destroyed.

Obviously they didn't get to play the Bills or Lions, but they weren't going to win either. They just weren't. The only chance anybody had they needed a blizzard to pass through.

I wouldn't have minded seeing a fully healthy Lions vs them. That team looked just as much of a train before the injuries hit. Always thought whichever of those came out of the NFC was winning the NFL barring Mahomesian bullshit.

And turns out when you shred his OL he can't bullshit.

I can't believe I'm defending Mahomes because he and his family can both go to Hell (more the latter tbh), but no QB stood a chance tonight against the Eagles the way that defense was playing.

Mahomes is a slam-dunk all-timer and this doesn't change that.

Chiefs got ass kicked at the line of scrimmage, got beat to a bloody pulp
OL was destroyed. Defence overall held their own. If Mahomes does not throw picks the chiefs D might have been able to get them to the half down just 10. Maybe 13 or 16 at worst.
