Oh I didn't realize you were a Washington fan. My bad. Of course you're a little bothered (and I get that).

Teams keep saying this and the Eagles keep winning.

Not sure any team they’ve recently played has had a D as good as KC. Their schedule for the most part down the stretch was weak

I'd like to thank the NFL for playing the season and giving us some good Lions stories and Jayden Daniels and whatever before moving along to the SB matchup we were always going to get. No I don't think the league is scripted just annoying and I'm over both of these teams so badly.

That said, I saw this

so I guess if I decide to tune in I've got a reason to pick one over the other.

the sports books will win.

The refs will ensure that. so yes Mahomes and KC will get non calls, bs calls, and all the help they need to win the game, maintain the spread and maximise the profitability of the gambling cartels.

I think the Eagles are a nightmare matchup for the Chiefs.

The one thing I'll say is that Barkley is a big play back, so if they can limit his explosiveness they have a good shot.

Outside of his first play today he was 14/58. That's not a terrifying stat line.

With that said, Barkley has been tearing off runs like that on the reg these playoffs, and all season really. So stopping those explosive plays is way easier said than done.

Chiefs couldn't handle Mixon or Cook very well, and neither are close to Barkley.
That is still 4 yards per carry. Philly had short fields with those 3 fumbles. Plus he didn’t play most of the Q4.

I think Fangio’s D can hold up. But it’s the intermediate routes that are their weakness. KC isn’t beating them deep.

Can Moore out coach against Spags? I would not leave an empty backfield on 3rd down. Clear advantage for KC in that coaching matchup as Moore can get pass happy.

Eagles fan here hoping they win on a 4&goal tush push from the 1 yard line down 4-5 points with 10 seconds remaining

A lot of people are forgetting that Hurts outplayed Mahomes in the Super Bowl with a far worse team than he has today.

Also forgetting that the turf last Super Bowl clearly interfered with defenses based on speed (everyone knows that, let's not be revisionist here).

I think the Chiefs are more likely to win, i can't deny that, but 2 years ago, Hurts was the better Quarterback and KC had the better team. This year, i don't see why the better team can't beat the better quarterback this time.

Coaching is going to be important. Like I said, I like Fangio vs Reid. That should be a good matchup. But, I think Spags has a decided advantage over OC Moore.

Moore is going to need the OL to be healthy with Jurgens and Dickerson to run the ball and control the LOS. Don't want 3rd and long and the KC blitz packages. Not with how Hurts tends to hold the ball.

I agree with everything here. I do think that the Eagles were the best team in the NFC, and they showed that. Let's see how it plays out

Eagles have the talent on both sides. Sometimes they just don't play up to it, mostly offensively. Reid and Spags with an extra week to game plan is a tough matchup. Philly will need to hit the one on one chances they get if KC has to load the box.

Each of the three Super Bowls the Chiefs have won they have been down 10 points. If that were to happen again that is playing into what the Eagles want to do and Saquon is just different. I think this game is going to come down to if Jalen can hit the deep shots to Brown and Smith against man coverage. He has not done that well much of the year though yesterday was probably his best game since the Super Bowl loss.

I'm hesitant to think he will so that's why I'm leaning Chiefs though if plays well this time they are probably winning. This should be another fun game like the one two years ago though I'd be shocked if there as many points in it.

Philly will try and out smart themselves I'm sure. Just like so many teams get away from their strengths when they play KC. It's like they just panic or something.
KC has elite coaching both O and D. Fangio is a good veteran matchup vs Reid. I lean towards Spags over Moore. Going to come down to how he calls the game. Can he mix in enough passing to ensure that the run game works. If he ends up in 3rd and long, going to get blitzed.

The fans lose this one thats for sure.

Either we see KC win again and people try to claim Mahomes>Brady, or the Eagles win. there are no winners here.
That discussion doesn't realistically begin until Mahomes catches Brady in rings and might not ever start given it's going to be very hard for any QB to match being that good for as long as he was.

Can Kelce come out of retirement for this game to kick things up a notch?

Hopefully KC don't fall behind double digits again

If Mahomes gets a threepeat you better believe that conversation is going to start happening alot more.
