The most likely team to win is still the team that has Mahomes. That has not changed, for like 6 years now. I think but team best equipped to do that in the AFC unfortunately did not get into the playoffs.

Hurts looked good today, even though his knee wasn't likely 100%. With two more weeks to heal his knee, he'll be even more dangerous as a runner more than likely. If he's accurate throwing, as he was today, that's a big + for Philly given what they already have on the ground with Barkley. The o-line as well need the break to heal, which should be huge for Philly's offense. They had the better offense and defense this season, so nothing makes me think they won't be able to do tbe same in two weeks as they've been doing since week 6, where they've had the best record in football, 15-1, in that time. They've also been very good at creating turnovers (10 takeaways so far in the playoffs), so I like their chances to win that battle as well.

eagles would’ve beat the bills
Like all of KC opponents, you can't have any close calls. Buffalo had a pick just outside the end zone, but their S didn't secure it and KC WR while on the ground was able to pull it away. But would have been wiped out anyways with a Defense holding call. Plus, a 4th and a foot which was tight. And a phantom face mask in which Buff defender touched the facemask, but never pulled it.

Have confidence that Mitchell can lock down any KC WR. Playoff time, so have to account for Mahomes running. Kelce was held in check today.

Jurgens and Dickerson need to be healthy enough to go in 2 weeks. Full week rest will do them good.

I put it this way. Mahomes can do what Hurts does; Hurts can't do what Mahomes does.

This Eagles team is better than the one two years ago though the Chiefs just find a way.

And the counterpoint is the Chiefs defense is better than the 2022 one

This is the third time the Chiefs scored 30+ this year on offense and they're 17-2.

Chiefs can win games in more ways than Philly can and that's big come playoffs.

Eagles are the better team, but the Chiefs will find a way to win. Probably with some sort of controversy involving the refs.
I'd agree that positionally the Eagles are the better team, but think it will come down to coaching and QB, and KC has both those in spades over Philly.

I think the Eagles are a nightmare matchup for the Chiefs.

The one thing I'll say is that Barkley is a big play back, so if they can limit his explosiveness they have a good shot.

Outside of his first play today he was 14/58. That's not a terrifying stat line.

With that said, Barkley has been tearing off runs like that on the reg these playoffs, and all season really. So stopping those explosive plays is way easier said than done.

Chiefs couldn't handle Mixon or Cook very well, and neither are close to Barkley.

The worst matchup possible, it’s honestly the first time I’ve thought about not watching. But of course I’m going to watch so what the hell am I talking about go Chiefs

See I'm surprised to have fans say this -

Would Chiefs smacking around the Commanders for 3 hours somehow be a better game?

The Commanders, while a ridiculously flawed team, were a great story.

But what if they went to the SB and got smacked around by Chiefs? (which is super likely what would've happened).

Would that have been a good game still? Or is it better that they were taken out and were spared from a blowout at the hands of the Evil Empire.

gonna hear ad nauseum about taylor swift or how saquon is the most amazing RB in league history surpassing Jim Brown or Barry Sanderes

give me the former

The difference is you don’t have to really worry about Mixon or Cook because their QBs are way better than Hurts. Hurtsus is IMO one of the most overrated QBs in the league if not the most overrated. You stack the box and say beat me. It’s why I said Saquon will not even hit 100 yards in this game. If Philly wins it’s going to be because Hurts won it himself. I see little chance Spagnuolo or Reid are going to let Barkley beat them

Not really, as a Washington fan I’m obviously just bitter at the moment. It will be a good game, just overall not excited for a rematch from 2 years ago.

Oh I didn't realize you were a Washington fan. My bad. Of course you're a little bothered (and I get that).

Teams keep saying this and the Eagles keep winning.
