Denver already got blown out vs Seahawks. Gotta think they learned from that.

!. Carolina is not as physical on both sides of the ball as that Seattle team
2. Denver is much tougher defensively this year as opposed to two years ago.

The problem in that game wasnt as much about the Denver offense as it was that the Denver defense couldnt stop Seattle. Carolina is better than that Seattle team offensively though.

Think this will a good game and Denver will win, but if there is a blowout it will be Carolina winning. Cant see Denver clownpounding any team.

Peyton's lower body is shot when it comes to throwing the ball. He has about 20-25 passes before he starts to struggle.

As with any Super Bowl, there's a lot on the line for legacy's, on both sides. At 18-1, Carolina would have to be placed up there with the all time great teams. But this Denver defense has a shot to be considered an all time great as well, considering this modern era of offense heavy football. They'd probably be the most defense heavy team to win since the 2000 Ravens. Then there's Manning, who can go out like his GM did.

I still need another week or so to pick this one.

I hope Broncos can keep it close, but deep down i feel like this will be a blow out for the the Panthers.

This Panthers team doesn't seem like the type that will get rattled by the big stage and they are equally or more talented across the board except at WR

PFF ranks the Denver offensive line below Arizona's. That's been THE key to winning these last two and masking the secondary deficiencies. If they can get to Manning, this might not be close, especially if Carolina works with consistent short fields. If Denver can protect, we'll have a game. Norman should take out DT, but McClain will have his hands full with Sanders. As much as I want Carolina to win, I am a Manning fan so I will not be *that* heartbroken to see Manning win again.

Panthers open at +4

It's going to be nearly impossible for the Panthers to keep Davis and Allen off the field. A broken arm and foot isn't going to stop them. Especially a guy like Allen, it's probably his last game.

Problem is Allen really wasn't all that effective when healthy. In fact the pass rush today looked much better.

Dont like either team but would much rather see Denver win it.

Cam & the Panthers will struggle against that defence. That unit is just too good

The Broncos D needs to take the game over and they need to establish their run game if they want to have any chance at winning. IMO if the Broncos win the SB, Von Miller or Demarcus Ware will be the MVP.

Meh, looked good against Seattle too. Plus he's been better against the run since he's been here. Ryan Delaire wasn't exactly noticeable so Allen in for him is probably a wash at worst.

They also have a much better Von Miller, Aqib Talib and DeMarcus Ware to name a few key additions.

Disagree about the second part tho.

2003 Bucs are up there as well, IMO they were more defence-heavy than the Ravens.

The problem is that Carolina has an excellent defense too, including a great line, the best linebacking core in the league, and an elite shutdown corner: while the Broncos offense has struggled recently. 20 points against the Pats d, which is worse than Carolina's? 20 points was good enough to beat Carolina once this year, in the only game they lost (though it was to Atlanta).

It'll either be a close, defensive battle: or Carolina jumps to an early lead once again, forcing Manning to throw, which Denver does not want. At all. Bad things will happen if Carolina gets another early lead.

Denver better hope to high hell their pass rush is up to the challenge of facing an actual good offensive line.

They have just made two very good defenses look woefully average.
