Lol the betting line wasn't terrible. It did exactly what it was supposed to do. Fool the public.
Th betting line means they knew KC was the better team and played on the sheep's bias.

The opening betting line is based on who the oddsmakers think is going to win. It is adjusted to allow for who is being bet on. If it was 13.5 at game time it was the bettors who were out to lunch (had nothing to do with the bookies).
