Unreal. You're starting to see it in the media, but players need to be getting more harshly criticized for this shit. These players put their management and coaches in no win positions by strapping their cap, advocating for certain players to join and eradicating their futures and then when they don't get it done, or earn their 40-50m paychecks, they point the finger at the coach and GM and say "you didn't put us in a position to win"

I mean the strategy is basically, ya we'll take max money, and then anyone who wants to make a run will have to get bought out or take league min to fit them in. If they're willing to take league min, there's probably a reason.

Yep, coaches can do their best on the personnel they have. If the GM has visions of a big 3 but they also supply them supporting players who don't fit the coaches scheme, who's fault is that?

Not every coach is a Phil Jackson, Greg Popovich, Steve Kerr, Eric Spolstra.

The Suns were swept in the first round but they were swept by the number one defensive team in the NBA. A team anchored by the current defensive player of the year who are also suffocating the defending champions. There is no way that any coach would have gotten this poorly built Suns team out of the first round no matter how much ownership talks about their expectations.
