Larin on a free must be generating lots of interest, hoping he goes to France or Italy.

Really?
I thought Arsenal had just sold Guendouzi for 11m euros and loaned out Saliba while spilling a monster check for White.
That doesn't scream good decisions to me.

You said Fekir sucked since he left Lyon. That's more than wrong.
And of the players you listed Fekir had the best season of them all.
Arsenal has made good player decisions for the most, but bad decisions overall if that makes sense. No one can argue about spending extra funds for White, but you also cannot deny that White just finished with quite a decent season.
Fact is that losing him for 11M euros is awful business.
Since Saliba hasn't played for Arsenal yet.... Maybe Arteta will send him to the u23?
Getting 11 million for Guendouzi, who probably would not want to come back is a miracle mate. We've lost Auba, Laca, and Ramsey all on frees and will probably lose a couple more players like Torreira. Also that isn't Arsenal football club as well, that's one bloke who has alienated all these players.

Hey now. The DC Metro is actually pretty good. You have to know what to avoid and what to take, and what's out of service, but it's pretty nice compared with some other places.
When I went it was 30 minutes between arriving trains back in October. That shit was rough. Fortunately we were staying in Alexandria and our hotel was right next to our stop, so we could time it to walk over there and not wait that long. Every transfer or trip back to the hotel wasn’t so easy.

Had a great time there though. Went to I don’t even know how many places, had some great food, saw everything, still don’t know how those fat asses made it up Capitol Hill, even went to MGM one night and blew money. Was there nine days. Some of the trips you guys talk about doing where you’re in a city for just a day or two, that would drive me insane. The great experience of DC and Mexico for me is to stay there a while.

With Bergwijn leaving, Spurs need another attacker. Always difficult recruiting them when Son and Kane want to play as much as possible. But if a versatile player is brought in that can be good cover for both, they should still play a good amount of minutes. I'm looking at players like Richarlison, Terrier, Danjuma and Gouiri.

Saliba is starting for the french NT. None of the Arsenal defensemen would crack the french NT.

Saliba was schooled by a Trabzonspor player last night. Haven't seen enough of him to make an opinion but last night he was one of the main reasons you lost.

Actually no. Both goals were due to Theo not be in aligned.

And to be honest that argument is laughable even if he WAS the main reason (which I already said he wasn't).
Saliba had a great season and is starting for the French NT, the World Champs at their deepest position.
Arteta is a clown period.

Kounde and both Hernandez brothers which I love were all bad last night, but the huge journeyman dane was left all alone by Saliba on the first goal and outmuscled Saliba easily on the second. Also this France team is way to good and deep to keep starting the ghost of Griezmann, and there's an argument to be made for Maignan starting instead of Lloris.

Griez is a ghost.
Lloris is still a great goalie but Maignan will take over after the WC. Lloris is not a worry.
Both Hernandez were bad and Kante is not performing.
It's tough decisions to bench the WC starters but it may be time.

Silly season.

Don’t think he is the right guy necessarily but would be funny for another Chelsea dump to go to Roma and then wind up at LFC.

Interestingly enough the closest comp to Abraham is Taiwo Awoniyi. Shame they wouldn’t give him a work permit.

It depends on what day of the week, and which line. But yeah, it can be a pain. They've been cutting some service because they haven't had drivers / workers to get the trains going. Honestly, it's an easy system, but with uber I don't use it as much as I used to.

MGM is fun. Even better now that you can bet sports. But yeah, blowing money is right.

Lot to do in DC and the area. But yeah, Alexandria is probably the recommended place to stay if you can swing it.

I would take Abraham. Though doesn't Chelsea have a buyback if they want him after next season?

I wouldn't want to pay what he would cost though.

I always loved Abraham. It would be great to get another Chelsea reject (not named Pulisic)

Never been to the Gulf Coast. The Pacific Coast in Mexico is spectacular though. Unfortunately no money for vacations this year.

As I said during the Queretaro thing I would never go to the middle of the country unless it was Mexico City but the coasts are some of the best places on the planet, but I'm glad a lot of people don't know about them and don't ruin them with too much tourism.
