I like that non call at this stage of the game, usually makes us dig in deeper.

OK but you would hope the refs would see these things. Both at IIHF & NHL I find the reffing has become inconsistent with too many missed calls. Then the players take things into their own hands & it gets nasty.

just came here to suggest that. I'm sure the results would be as good or better than him dishing to the linemates he has. but is a tough culture thing to overcome too...

Whistling is to show displeasure at the officiating. *shrug* It's lower key than bandoleering them with flaming tires full of gasoline like can happen after some football/soccer matches.

I like Hischier but he needs to start showing up in the big games as well. He has never really done that for the NT at the senior level. Picking up 3 points against the likes of italy looks nice on the stat sheet. But it wont get you a medal.
