Sudbury Wolves 2024-25 Season Thread, Part IV

Well as I predicted Duncun McCoy major was a love tap. Kearns with a good hard check to a player who skates with his head down. With no suspension to Hayes after game 1 you had to figure there would be none to the Wolves players.

Key to victory tonight! Wolves need to take the lead and shut down Guindon, stay disciplined and get more quality shots on net.

It’s Donovan McCoy how do you not know your own players

Must win for the Wolves tonight!

Lineup
Forwards

Musty(27) - Villeneuve(89) - Walton(22) - Starting
Molnar(96) - Ziliotto(16) - Pharand(21)
Henderson(77) - Clayton(24) - Coughlan(9)
Street(73) - Chitaroni(91)

Defense

DeAngelis(95) - McCoy(19)
O'Dell(4) - Mews(88) - Starting
Ewles(7) - Blonda(93)
Kearns(2)

Goalies

Krawchuk(30) - Starting
Marshall(31)

They want him on the ice. Not taking one of our guys off for 5 mins. There isn't a single scenario where that works for us unless the spare goalie fights him.

Maybe Musty should try to stick up for himself tonight?

You know Musty is playing with a bad shoulder, he can handle himself if has too.

Not that long ago a 16 year old Tristan Lennox got hit in the face with a half full beer can. Every fan base has their wackos, no sense trying to point the other ones out.

Tonight's broadcast on YourTV features Nick Liard and Gary "Wrong Name" Beech. May have to mute the video and try and sync the audio from the radio as best I can.
Coop is on the radio with Rick Wyman.

No way to pause the radio broadcast so I'll watch and suffer I guess.

onhockey.tv for the video feed. Use a laptop with chrome and adblocker for best results.

I thought Ethan Hay had a broken nose? Skating around with a visor seems to indicate otherwise. At least everytime I've seen a broken nose, the player returns with a cage.

If you were at the last game you’d see how much of his gross blood was running from his nose like a faucet last game. We don’t make stuff up believe it or not. Probably wouldn’t show too much on TV in case someone has an uneasy stomach

I saw the bloody nose and tissue stuffed up it last game. But if it was broken, he would be wearing a cage this game, would he not? Never seen a team irresponsible enough to let someone play two days after breaking their nose without a cage.

Wolves are being heavily outplayed right now. Waiting for Kingston to come to them, no attack or anything.
Offence is non-existent, they can't enter the zone with puck possession. Too many players on this squad lack basic puck skills You've got 3-4 forwards who can actually carry the puck, not hard to shut down the options.

2-0, get the brooms?
