Chucky kept it close, maybe a week one but team just could not respond. Have to take advantage of Kingston goaltending that is their week spot. Soo new what they were doing there when they moved him.

Not having Delic is the real dagger especially when combined with Villeneuve living out his days in the box. Having to play a bulk of the game with your top centers being Pharand, Chitaroni, Clayton is not how you win playoff games.

"Great clean hit".... puck not even touched by the Wolves forward. Kingston defenseman just turns and hits him. That's more interference than anything,

Ok sure but it was a hard nose play. Jack Ziliotto need to bring his hard hat to the game and get involved physically. Both guys go into the corner and hes passive. I have no issue with the Kingston defender on that play.

hoping to see some of the new kids bring a spark being their first playoff game, can't just rely on our top line.

Need to stay discipline really hurts our flow of the game, we were playing well prior to first fight just doesn't help our game, some teams can feed off it, but we get worse.

I don’t think they were trying to act tough, I think the wolves were giving back what the Fronts were giving them. Only problem is is that our guys are smaller and not as strong. We lost a lot of battles. We were out hit. And not as fast. No sense of urgency. Some guys are good regular season players, then there’s the guys that are good playoff players. We need playoff players right now

Duncan McCoy must be a new guy on the Wolves team.

Almost 140,000 people in Kingston and their arena looks half full. Brutal

Coughlan was pushed into the goalie so I can't imagine this gets reviewed.

Only thing more pathetic than the Wolves effort tonight was the 1/4 full arena in Kingston.

Musty must return for the Wolves to have a sniff.

Not true - the only section mostly empty was the fronts end in 1st and 3rd. While it was disappointing there was a massive ticket master issue and there was almost 3600 there

McCoy, Coughlan, Street, Henderson and even Villeneuve were the primary aggressors on most occasions

Yeah, but it’s hard to do it with so many guy’s missing man, and not fourth line guys. Delic, Musty, Robert’s and Blonda man it gets kinda hard to overcome after a while. I thought Chucky did very well maybe be surprised on the one shot but other than that played excellent gave us a chance but we couldn’t generate much other a couple posts and missed open net.
To me, we need a couple bodies back and we definitely have to generate more than we did tonight and avoid the stupid penalties.

Watching the game, sections were 60-70% empty.

Maybe 3600 tickets sold, no chance there were that many butts in the seats. Absolutely terrible for game 1 of the playoffs.

Was Blonda hurt? I was under the impression he was a healthy scratch. Hopefully he's in for game 2, because they sorely need someone who can actually pass and carry the puck.

I just can’t figure out tonight’s strategy. Play D first, disciplined hockey and win 5 straight games. Go back to playing Fire Wagon Hockey with no D and spread all over ice not connected and down 3-0.
Our play is making the Fronts look like the London Knights.

The Fronts will make mistakes and turn over the puck, commit to D and wait and capitalize on the opportunities…

They got Vili out early and he never got his game back. They know how to push the right buttons. Have to get more shots on Schenkel, he is not the goalie they expected when they got him from the Soo.Really liked Pickell good old Clarington Eagles boy, him and Therrien from North Bay great picks from Jack Thompson country. This organization is really producing some real gems.

Regardless of reasons given, and or excuses made, that was a poorly attended game last night.

Period.

For a decent team you had this season those guys deserved better.

One of the excuses was freezing rain. The year I spent in the area, an ice sheet on the 401 and Lakeshore Jan-March was about as frequent as being snow blind between Parry Sound and Barrie.

I wasn't too far from Kingston. It was rain not freezing rain.

4-1 is tough, though from what I'm reading it probably should've at least been 4-2.

Chucky should start Game 2 in my opinion. I didn't watch the game but the stat book is showing he saved 36/39 shots which is pretty damn impressive in my opinion.

He played very well, 1 softie but it could have been a lot worse. Should be his net until he loses it.

The wolves didn't play a poor game last night. Defensively they looked better than recent games but generating chances is their biggest achilles heal. Every team has injuries. NB last night 3 goals on 33 shots against the top seed. Wolves 1 goal on 21 shots .

I will not pretend to know what the weather was like in that region yesterday; but I can say for fact that weather varies within a few kms. To me, their winter weather was wicked; and passenger vehicles passing through that corridor do not all have appropriate tires.
