Sudbury Wolves 2024-25 Season Thread, Part IV

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version. Click Here for Updates

Oh I thought villy got benched. But still glad he benched a couple of guys. You have to send a message. Can’t keep letting guys take dumb penalties without repercussions

Good on Barney for sitting the two knuckleheads who keep getting stupid penalties. I really like this head coach and hope he gets a chance to come back next year.

This has turned into a pretty disappointing season. Oh well. On to the next game.

Molenar and who? (Mews)? I stopped watching that game.

This is a second before you can see he stretches his legs out to get him. McCoy is lucky they didn't look at it during the game.

I dont think you have to worry about Barney not coming back. Don't think Dario wants to be paying for two coaches.

Not going to hear anything noteworthy from local media
They all are employed during the games either through local tv broadcasts or off-ice duties(timekeeping etc..)
Not one of them will say anything negative about the team as they know who feeds them
Remember it was a Soo reporter who had the b$&&s to call out the burgess fiasco for what it was

You would think Ben Leeson would do so. He's the main source for wolves coverage.

Good point does anybody know what happened to our defensive play? Was I on another planet or did we used to be pretty sound defensively?

Yeah, you probably remember the days when they used to be so good. Remember when they were red hots?
 
I sincerely believe that there is a hidden agenda behind the wolves going forward. Coaching decisions and strategies are being made mostly by the GM as he is in survival mode trying to save his job and putting the team second. Coaching staff is well aware and are just following orders. Seems Dario has given RinP the green light and the coaching staff is confused and not to impressed with Dario and his decision making.

Between this year and last year, it's starting to get me burgess era angry. I may sit out the rest of the season. Atleast the drinks are cheap here and when the team folds, I can switch the channel.

Am I missing something here? I thought you had to be down to 3 OAs by a deadline. Is there exceptions for calling up an OA in emergency situations?
