All teams experience down turns during a season;for instance, Barrie just came off a 5 game losing streak. I trust our coaches to get us back on track. The GM is back under the microscope, he is in charge, he made the trades, hopefully they work out in our favour but someone has to pay the piper when all is said and done. Lots of time to get it all done, a little winning streak is what the doctor ordered.
And .. 2-5 in last 7 without Clayton...6-6-3 with Musty
16-9-2 without
That bar is so low, they could trip over it.Friday will tell an interesting tale. I’ve got a good mind the score will be a little closer.
Successful season for both the wolves and fronts is going atleast 3rd round. (Not happening unless you take out Barrie/oshawa round 2)A successful season would be finishing high enough to get home ice advantage in the first round.
Let's start with winning one game in round two, that has not happened since 2007 for the wolves.Successful season for both the wolves and fronts is going atleast 3rd round. (Not happening unless you take out Barrie/oshawa round 2)
Both Kingston and Sudbury are in the same spot where they shouldn’t have probably gone all in but they did.
Jeez I thought the fronts were bad. We haven’t won more than 1 game in the 3rd round I don’t think ever and we’ve only made the second round a few times since then. 17 years without a second round appearance I believe it was. To put into perspective how long that is exactly- a kid can come out of the womb and at 17 I believe would be grade 12 in the meantimeLet's start with winning one game in round two, that has not happened since 2007 for the wolves.
Well, I think Marshall is good, just green. Then they brought in Chartier. A bit more seasoned. And if they lose an OA it seems Vandenberg is still an option? Let's hope Krawchuk is back soon and ready to go. Bowen has been out since the 9th when he left the game injured. On paper we have options. Maybe a deal was there for Bowen but the injury was 'new' and at the deadline so what would we have been getting? Chartier deal was made the next day...Sudbury like last year overestimated their goaltending, before going all in the first step should have been getting a backup or starter to backup Chucky who was playing very well but can’t be expected to carry the load he has to now. What if Chucky got or can get seriously hurt, how many spots could we drop? Papineau blundered last year regarding goaltending and did the same thing again.
