Don’t hold your breath, if anything like last year at this time Papineau waited last minute till everyone of value was gone. He is probably very confused as to what do do after the Barrie trade. I would think his biggest concern right now would be his contract renewal so he may just sit tight and hope things go right.

I would hope the Wolves got a D-man back in the deal, but from a value perspective, I think it's pretty solid.
For D the have Darcy or Fellinger, outside that its Mania, Collins, Frolov or Podrekar all they just got this season don't think they would be keen to move one.

At the very least I think it's a solid starting point.

Yeah, I don't neccessarily mean a D from Flint, just if the wolves are looking to round out their team while dealing Musty, I'm sure they'd prefer to get a d-man back in the deal as well.

You can likely find that in a separate deal.

We have the potential for

Ewels, Blonda, Jackson, O'Dell, Smith and Wreiggitt on D, thought Smith looked good before the break and in camp. Wreiggitt is looking good on the Thunderbirds I believe, might be the Eagles, one of the Soo NOJHL teams.

No. That is why the wolves still have Musty.
You balked at the suggestion of Blonda, Chitaroni, picks for Gibson (and) Mignosa.
When did I balk at that? If we are buying I expect both plus Jackson and most of our draft picks gone.

The one you are referring to was for 1 and was more picks

Wreggitt plays for the Soo (Michigan) Eagles.

And yes, he's having a good season.

I know the rumored London was too much, that's why 1 went 2 young players and 4 picks, seen some much bigger trades

It’s a ridiculous ask for a LW which is the easiest of all positions to fill. What you suggested was a bit more than the rumoured cost of Gibson and Mignosa.

These prices are impressive. Must be nice to be a seller in this market.

So now what, both Oshawa and Barrie all in seems like a no brainier we have to be sellers at this point. GM can not wait last minute like last year and lose out. Decisions have to be made NOW future is at stake. Lets hope Barney has a lot of say in going forward as he will be here for a while you would think.

Worst case scenario is the Wolves do nothing. Half-in half-out

Other then Musty, not much to sell. Not a lot of market for our OA's from contenders unless someone like Kingston or Oshawa will pay for a upgrade and that's with Smith and Mayich still on the market. I wouldn't mind a pick based buy of some decent 17-18 year old players
