Yes he has a goal but continues to be soft in his own end. Bad giveaway..
I'm starting to think you have a legal obligation to complain about whoever is leading the wolves in scoring. Also leads the team in +/-. Today he saved a goal against with a great takeway. I think some of the folks here think unless you're running an elbow through someones forehead, you're soft.

You have to give the game puck to Chucky!!! Made some huge stops when Sudbury was caught not tracking their men in their own end. Henderson is also a beaut. Clayton just intercepted and broke up so many plays as well.

I wish Pharand and Coughlan could hit the net more on their chances. Man way too many times they shooting wide.

But I will take the win and 4 point weekend regardless of result tomorrow in Oshawa in another brutal three in three when you play at home on a Friday.

Gotta give it to Paps for picking those guys in the 17 year old draft. Henderson, Chucky, Robinson and prior to that Weekes and Serentis. We have had some luck there.

WJ

P.S. Refs were def one sided tonight.

I'm really hoping Hendy gets more minutes, his work ethic is off the charts

(IF) the wolves keep Musty they'll need to add more firepower on that 1st line. I don't think Molnar is it, and or Delic. They need someone who will get him the puck. If they move him, the offence team numbers will probably drop, and they will contend on trying to win close games and developing.

Should be very interesting how this all plays out.

Nice win. Main reason wolves stay in games is the system of play and goaltending. Krawchuk playing very well.
Chucky was most definitely the first star for the Wolves tonight. Tack on an assist on Empty net goal!
Few observations: NIA PP goal came with Villy in box and Delic as a PK guy. Love Delly but he is not a PK guy. Perhaps not-picking here a bit but way to many odd man rushes the last 2 games, with no high guy support. Good news is strong back tracking for the most part. I just get PTSD when I watch “all or nothing” offence with no regard for D. Still traumatized from last season.
Big win tho, congrats to all.
Maybe I missed him but I didn’t see Chitter much in second or third period.

As I have previously posted: Henson = a young Hyman.

Can’t let him walk for nothing. As the stated in the OHL round table after the second period, “it will be an arms race” in the Eastern conference leading to the deadline. Return for #27 should be very impressive.

I thought Hudson C. would of been Henderson type of player. I'm not sure what he is at this point. Good skater, seems to have on ice smarts. Perhaps needs more time to see who he really is. I'd be curious to hear what Barney has to say about his game.

At this point I hope we keep Musty and add another scorer to maybe go on a run. This year seems different, we are not as skilled but we are a much better hockey team than previous years.

We'll said. To add to your point Barney had said " hard work beats good teams" something to that effect. The above teams will add but so can the wolves. If you can get 1 or 2 solid forwards, another 1 top 4 solid damn that would help significantly. Can't emphasize enough Musty will need someone who can get him the puck and add scoring to his line.

Either way, I think we are in a win/win situation when it comes to #27.
Not necessarily. You never know how these trades workout. There's no guarantees with pics received that they will blossom. I hear it all the time " boat load of pics". No guarantees. What is a guarantee is the wolves are better off with an ENGAGED Musty and point producer than without.

So for us to go all in again we need an ENGAGED and wanting to stay Musty, potentially 2 forwards a defenseman and a number one goalie. I don't think we have the assets for all of that.

All this besides the fact that we haven't played many of the contenders yet other than the colts who have beat us every time and blown us out as did Kingston.

Tomorrow or well tonight now I suppose is our first game against Oshawa one of the projected top contenders. Followed by 2 more against the colts and haven't faced Brampton yet.

Not saying we couldn't luck into home ice, just that this team hasn't had a real test yet it's alittle early to be thinking about committing what assets we do have for quarter of our team. We are talking about likely moving Blonda, Chitironi, Jackson, Bruce, Marshall and whatever picks we do have.

Why would you go all in with this team this season? They need to hope musty continues to play well and sell him for the future. The team is playing well, but are no where near the big teams this year. They finally got a coach- let’s see him develop a team over the next couple seasons.

If this team decides to go in, it will lock in Dario and Papineau as the dumbest owner/GM combo in the OHL.
I keep seeing people saying go get players to make the top 6 better and it's frustrating. We came in to the season expecting to be 6-8 nothing has changed other than a slow start by Brampton.

We can't sell our future on a hope and a prayer this season. Keep status quo, trade Musty in a few weeks or sooner.
