Any fans that boo Musty are not fans as far as I am concerned 😦
Naturally he gets booed on the road after he scores

I suppose there also were not two penalties that should have been called leading up to the OT winner? No obvious high stick or interference? Come on
Your team got away with penalties too thru out the game too

Well, I've had some time to stew and think about things and truth be told I'm not so butthurt about this weekend's results.

On Friday, we went up against the top team in the OHL. Sure, the 8-4 score stings a bit, but I thought we put up a good fight, though it definitely shook Marshall’s confidence. Saturday went much better with a 3-1 win over the Bulldogs. And on Sunday, we pushed the Ice Dogs to OT, showing some real grit, even if we couldn’t pull it off.

The next two games are going to be very important. Barrie has had our number all season long and we've lost the last 2 games to them, including our home opener back in September. Hopefully Musty and Molnar can continue to perform well and give us the edge over a strong Barrie team!

No point in booing whatsoever. Welcome him back, he seems to be playing the right way.
As far as yesterday’s game, I’m pretty upset with Coughlin. That was an incredibly stupid penalty that led to the go ahead goal. I was kind of surprised he didn’t sit for the entire period. Who knows how he not done that Musty’s goal may have been the winner. Sure hope he got a talking to. Unacceptable he has to cut that out.

I think Barrie has a good chance to win the conference and I’m not exactly thrilled about the fact we have to play them so many times. I’d also really like to see us get another import to fill the slot. Finally massive. Kudos to Barney for cutting the goals against down. Fantastic job. Man, where was he last year?

Does anyone know what prospects we currently have with NCAA commitments that could pop over from USHL or BCHL? I know there is Hage and Cleveland but they are both NHL Drafted and playing NCAA already do don't see them coming.

Strangely Friday night’s game reminded me of last year’s play (no defence). Marshall had no help at ALL.
Saturday and Sunday the Coaches took control and got the boys playing strong D hockey.
Having said this there were some bright spots Friday night: I thought Dean played his best game of the year (very much engaged and strong on forecheck). Blonda with a few D zone blunders early made up for it with a beauty goal and stood up for his teammate with a fight. Also I’ve noticed he is now on PP1 running the top of the umbrella. Not too bad for a 15yr old.
Musty and Molnar looked very good with no practice time. Bruce’s play has been improving every game.
Over the weekend it was nice to see positive body language from QM#27 by supporting his teammates. Also, Streetcar scoring his first OHL was a good news event. This kid is special and he deserves everything he gets. Great job bringing this young man aboard.

I may have missed some folks, and its possible the wolves have not kept rights on some of the older guys as well, but on a quick runthrough.

Wolves prospects with NCAA commits:
Gregory Najda - Yale 2027
Jayden Connors - U o New Hampshire 2026
Bjorn Bronas - Minnesota State (26?)
Brady Cleveland - Current Colorado College
Joey Brehmer - Lake Superior State 2026
Michael Hage - Current UoM

Wolves prospects playing at prep schools or other leagues typically(but not always) used as a pathway to NCAA:
Mateo Beites - St Andrews College
Finn Kearns - St Andrews College
Harris McLean - Holy Name Bears 18U AAA
Rory Savage - Little Ceasars/USNDP U18
Charles Purdue - USNDP U18 - > Chicago Steel
