No surprise, but always good for it to get taken care of early. Imagine the expectations should be quite high with him being an 08, would love to see a world where he's in the race for rookie of the year. Given the lack of returning players, should see lots of opportunity.
Suddenly a pretty good GM is available
Would make sense, hope Brantford enjoys their nepotism hire if the rumors are true. He’s going out of OHL believe OHL4life said ahl/nhl
Don't need to worry about us moving him to Brantford atleast
It's going to be difficult for anybody to look further than a couple of years out. The NCAA actually has bigger problems than the OHL. The revenue sports that generate the bulk of the NIL revenue have zero horizon past the current season. An example - there is not a single player returning next year from Baylor's highly succesful and well respected men's basketball team, not one. There is also some low level chatter about the NCAA putting a cap on scholarships for foreign students.not sure how OHL teams will manage and strategize players on their roster now that it is open up for kids to play college.
That's an easy fix...If you're a big enough program. You poach good players from smaller or mid level schools. The low level schools are incredibly SOL. Develop a low rated player into something? Cool. He's leaving you for a bigger pay day then. It's going to be difficult for anybody to look further than a couple of years out. The NCAA actually has bigger problems than the OHL. To add to the confusion Nick Saban bent Trump's ear about NIL and the NCAA at the U of Alabama's convocation ceremony. An Executive Order is rumoured to be in the works which will make things even more confusing. And that's exactly what is current;y unfolding
I'll choose to believe I manifested this into existenceSeeing other teams run development camps this weekend. Not sure why the wolves got away from the may dev camp. Get the prospects on the ice, give them feedback on what they need to do this offseason. Have to imagine it was a cost savings or something to tack it on with training camp.
